Monthly Favourites | July 2017

Yet another month has gone and that calls for another favourites post (despite missing last month). This month has been full of new discoveries and some new holy grails have been found, read on for more

Makeup wise this month i finally got my hands on the L’Oreal Paradise Mascara, after seeing all of my US blogger friends and beauty guru’s raving about it i knew i had to get it. This month it finally made it’s way to the UK and i ran out and brought it on launch day (committed). I’ve been using it ever since and i’ve become obsessed, i’ve even been reaching for it over my holy grail maybelline lash sensational! While picking up the mascara i noticed that they had the Paradise Brow Pomade too which i hadn’t heard anything about but decided to pick it up while it was on 3 for 2 and i’ve been really enjoying it, it also has a brush in the lid which is super handy for on the go or for travelling.

My glitter obsession continues and after watching the Love Island glitter party episode i was inspired to add a little glitter in my life. I’ve been after the Collection Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liners for the longest time but all the shades i wanted were always out of stock, however when doing my tesco food shop i noticed that they actually stocked collection. I finally picked up the liner in the shade ‘Funk’ and i’ve been loving adding a little glam to my evening makeup looks.

When popping into boots recently to pick up another back up on my Maybelline Eye Eraser i noticed that they’ve added a ‘Brightener’  and ‘Neutraliser’ to the range, intrigued i picked up the brightener shade and i’ve really been liking it, it’s a gem for those pesky under eye dark circles.

Last up in makeup this month is the Kiss Light Reflecting Primer  i’d never even heard of this product before or the brand for that matter, but when ordering some Essence makeup off the Wilko site, this primer came up as a suggestion. After seeing that it had over 100 5 star review i thought it had to be good and added it to my basket for a mere £4. Since i received it i’ve been using it daily, it has a traditional silicone feel and really helps to mattifying the skin and blur my pores, if you’re on a budget it’s a great steal!

Skincare wise this month i’ve been loving the  La Roch Posay Serozinc. Now on my second bottle i’m convinced that this has been my skin saviour, i’ve been getting quite a few breakouts lately and my skin has just been playing up but i quick spritz of this day and night and my skins been on the mend. It’s a cult favourite for a reason.

A rather random favoruite for July is the  Soft & Gentle 0% Aluminium Deodorant normally i’m not a fan of aerosol deodorants as they really irritate and dry out my under arms but this little gem has been a saviour. Free from aluminium, alcohol and allergens this is deodorant is perfect for sensitive skin gals!

In persuit of keeping up with my very little summer tan i’ve been using the  Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk  and for times when i need to up my glow or for nights out i’ve been reaching for the Superdrug Solait Tanning Lotion in Dark  both leave my skin with a lovely summer glow that’s not streaky or orange.

Last of the beauty favourites is the TIGI Catwalk Hairista Split End Repair .  I Recently went a little lighter with my hair and i’ve found that it’s left it a little dry so this little guy has come in handy at helping to seal my ends and give me that extra boost of hydration.

Music wise this month i’ve been loving Taylor Swift, she’s recently started streaming back on Spotify and i’ve been loving going back and listening to her old school albums.

And finally TV wise this month i’ve been hooked on Suits. I’ve been meaning to watch it for ages and now i wish i’d watched it sooner! If you are a fan of law/political themed series then you’ll love it. It witty, funny and addictive.

There that’s it, my july favs! Sorry it’s quite a long one, kudos if you made it all the way through!
