Lush Halloween/Christmas 2017 Blogger Night | Mini Lush Haul

October 18, 2017

So last Friday (13th) I got the chance to go to my 2nd lush blogger event in my hometown and I had the best night! The night was focused around the Halloween and Christmas launches for this year. A little premature for Christmas but I had to admit I felt really festive! The aim of the launch this year was the launch of ‘Naked Packaging’, lush have been working to removing unnecessary packing for their products and replacing with cardboard or adding a wax/clay to make the product bind by itself.

The night was a blast as usual and we were well looked after with festive drinks and vegan cakes and pumpkin spice cake pops (which might I add were to die for). We all got to make our own butter bear bath bombs and got the low down on all the newbie products which are all amazing. Lush kindly gifted us a product of our choice from the new launches and I had to make a few cheeky purchases myself of course.

The first thing i picked up myself was the Snow Fairy Cold Pressed Soap. Snow fairy is my all time favourite scent from lush it has a candy bubblegum scent and is super sweet. Lush have a new cold pressed gourmet soap formula that they spoke to us all about and it sounded fab so i thought i’d pick one up in my fab scent.

To match the soap i also picked up the Snow Fairy Body Conditioner  . I have super dry skin so i love adding a body conditioner into my shower routine for a little added hydration. I love the formula of lush’s body conditioner and the fact that they brought it out in my fav scent makes me super happy!

Another new release in the Christmas line is a new addition to the lip scrubs. I picked up the Sugar Plum Fairy  scent and it smells like sweets! I believe that it’s the twilight bath bomb scent but don’t quote me on that! If you haven’t tried lush’s lip scrubs, you must!

As mentioned lush have introduced their ‘naked packaging’ and this Once Upon A Time Body Body Lotion is one of those versions. As you can see in the photo below the formula has added clay and wax to help bind the product together, to use you simply rub the lotion bar straight onto the skin and then rub in! The scent of this body lotion smells straight up like Christmas and i love it!

All in all I had a fab night and i loved learning and demoing all the new products. As always lush blew me away with their creativity and fun. I can’t wait for new next set of launches!

Glad you had a great night! I don’t shop at Lush but if I had the means to, I totally would. Snow Fairy is a lovely scent and I love their no-packaging ethics too. Some brands send stuff with SO much tissue paper and huge boxes which are 3 times the size of the product itself and it’s just not necessary! ? Jenny |

I really must try more of the Lush products – I’ve literally only tried some of the bath bombs and a shower gel! I’d quite like to give the lip scrubs/balms a go and the body conditioner sounds interesting especially as I sometimes suffer from dry skin.

    Glad you had fun 🙂

The pressed soap looks so pretty! I always just associate lush with bath bombs and often forget that they do other things like this!
