Brand Focus | The Ordinary | 1 Month In

May 4, 2017
Unless you’ve been living under a rock in the beauty world recently then you all know the hype around the brand ‘The Ordinary’. Budget friendly high quality skincare that works. I’ve spoken about them a couple of times but now that I’ve got quite the collection, I thought I’d do a little roundup.

High Adherence Silicone Primer & High Spreadability Fluid Primer

I’ve written about both of these Primers quite a few times on my blog and I’m still in love with them. The high Adherence Primer is a great pore filling Primer, perfect for events or nights out when you really need your makeup to last. The fluid Primer slightly takes the lead though for me personally as I love how smooth it makes my base, foundation glides on top like a dream!

Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution
Fans of the pixi glow tonic will love this one! At a fraction of the cost but doest the exact same thing. This has helped clear the texture on my skin massively. I’ve been struggling with little bumps on my chin and this is the only thing that’s worked. I have super sensitive skin so I was dubious at first but it doesn’t irritate me at all. A must have for me now and a staple in my nighttime skincare routine.

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
One of my favourite items from the whole line. This is product seems to be the one everyone is raving about and for a good reason. If you have dry/dehydrated skin then you need this! My skin is looking for much more plump and hydrated these days and its thanks to this little guy.

100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil
Another lovely hydrator. I love this on pamper nights when my skin needs something a little more heavy duty. I don’t find that’s it’s too heavy and it’s doesn’t break me out which is a winner! I’ve been loving using a tiny amount in my hair too for shiny silky hair!

Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
As far as moisturisers go this is brilliant. Nothing spectacular but it does what it’s meant to and it does it really well. If you’re in the market for a new moisturiser then definitely check it out.

Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG
The holy grail of them all! I’m someone that really struggles with dark circles and puffiness. I’ve used countless Eye creams and I’ve never fallen in love with one until now. I’ve noticed such a massive difference in the brightness of my eye area, my skin now doesn’t look so sallow. I’ve been recommending this to everyone recently and I’ve even got a back up!

And that’s a wrap. As you can tell I LOVE ‘The Ordinary’ I’m yet to try a product that I haven’t fallen I love with. One month in and my skin is looking and feeling better than ever. They are really hitting the ball out of the fence in the beauty world and all for a very good reason. If you haven’t tried anything from the range yet I urge you to place an order right now!

It's one of my favourites from the range! Oh I'm sure you'll love it, it instantly de puffs but I'd say I started seeing a difference after 2 weeks of use AM&PM ?

I've been loving The Ordinary Silicone primer. I have some large pores around my nose and they are much less noticeable when I use this primer. And the price is so good! I just started using the caffeine serum around my eye area this week, so fingers crossed I see some good results!
